The perfect place to say "I do"
Our civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and receptions are held in beautiful rooms in the famous stable courtyard designed in 1758 by James Paine. Chatsworth couples really do make an entrance with exclusive access to the stables via Lodge Hill in their chosen wedding car or carriage. The Hartington room our largest ceremony space has recently undergone a full refurbishment, the room is bright and welcoming and contains the original features from the stables. It is the perfect for our larger weddings holding up to 80 guests. The Racing room, originally the tack room, is perfect for smaller intimate weddings and is decorated with paintings from the Devonshire Collection. Drinks receptions take place in the Cavendish restaurant overlooking the courtyard and the majestic Carriage House restaurant makes the most wonderful place to hold your wedding breakfast. Evening parties go on late into the night with the candle lit courtyard as a backdrop providing a fitting end to the perfect day.
Hannah, Kay and Laine, our wedding team, are here to help you plan every little detail of your special day at Chatsworth. With a wealth of experience and a passion for creating the perfect wedding we would love to talk to you about your special day.
