Glandyfi Castle was built in 1800 on the site of a much older Castle - some of which still remains. It is set in 45 acres of gardens and woodland and has exceptional views overlooking the Dovey estuary. The Castle has been fully refurbishes to the highest standard.
The Castle is warm and inviting and feels more like a country house on the inside.
There are 8 rooms including a Bridal Suite complete with four poster bed, painted ceiling and a large jaczuzi bath in the octagonal en suite bathroom. All rooms are individually designed and all have stunning views of either mountains, gardens or sea.
Wedding ceremonies can take place in one of three rooms inside the Castle or in an Oak Gazebo outside overlooking the estuary with mountains in the background.
The maximum number for a sit down Wedding Breakfast is 40 people. A wide range of dishes is offered and cooked to the highest standard. More can be accommodated at a Buffet.
Glandyfi Castle offers a limited number of Weddings each year. We work closely with each couple to make their day unique for them. No two Weddings at the Castle are ever the same and we welcome couple who have the imagination to create something different. We welcome themed Weddings, Same Sex weddings, small, intimate Weddings and anything else which uses this unique venue to inspire a truly personal experience.
