Located between Leicester, Market Harborough and Kettering, Hothorpe Hall & The Wood are neighbouring venues each with a distinct identity of it's own.

Country House wedding venue, Hothorpe Hall, is a magnificent location for your wedding day. With exclusive use as standard (at an affordable price!), your wedding party can have full use of the entire venue for the day’s celebrations. There are several room options for your ceremony and drinks reception with some flowing out onto the gardens and terraces. Alternatively, the venue boasts a private Victorian Chapel for a blessing or fantastic photographs.

For a formal wedding breakfast, our Langton Room has retained the features of its Victorian stable origins and the adjoining Welford Lounge is an open area for your evening’s buffet, away from the noise of evening entertainment.

The venue has overnight accommodation for you and your guests, in 55 en suite bedrooms meaning you can really make a night of it. The bedrooms can be booked by guests via our online portal which is exclusive to your wedding. The bedrooms are available to your guests only and there are no shortfall charges if bedrooms are not booked.

From Easter 2017, Hothorpe Hall will boast an impressive new bridal suite, with walk-in dressing room and stunning bathroom. A sunny new outdoor terrace - perfect for drinks receptions and evening receptions to extend outside - opened in Spring 2017.

Hothorpe Hall was awarded Best Wedding Venue in the East Midlands in 2014 and 2015, as voted by satisfied brides and grooms, as well as a national finalist in the Guides for Brides Awards 2016.

A wonderful wedding venue located on the border of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, The Woodlands offers a fantastic setting for your big day.

On the perimeter of Hothorpe Hall's grounds and discretely hidden away, The Woodlands' timber and glass structure provides a modern haven which beautifully complements the surrounding natural environment.

The Woodlands is perfect for weddings with 60 day guests and up to 150 for the evening reception. The Mulberry Ceremony Room is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and is complete with adjoining private bar/lounge area and dining room. The large windows and glass doors open up onto the stunning countryside surroundings.
