There is no doubt that the power of music turns an event into a memory. Have you ever stopped to consider how the use of music alters our mood, whether from one of joy to sadness or satire to drama in an instant. This relationship of mood or personal experience with music is made even more poignant, when the music is played by a Highland Piper: There is a purity of sound enhanced by the lone performance of the bagpiper before an audience; each note listened to and felt intently.

Music no doubt makes an event a memorable one, whether the event is for business or pleasure, sorrow or joy. That is why Piper on Parade, your Scottish piper, has been such a success over the years, performing before her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and other heads of state through to key business gatherings, weddings, funerals and celebrations here in the UK and overseas.

Weddings are a speciality fo Piper on Parade; Each Wedding is bespoke, careful discussion with the couple, considering the style of wedding, the venue, etc. But as a rule this is what we offer. Arrive at the venue 45 minutes prior to the ceremony, pipe as guests arrive. Walk down to the car to meet the bride and pipe her to the venue entrance. After photographs have been taken, I then pipe from the entrance to where the ceremony is being held. After the ceremony I strike up a celebratory tune and lead the happy couple out to meet the guests. Then when the wedding breakfast is due to be served, I will meet with everyone, firstly leading the guests to the top table before returning to collect the bride and groom and leading them to their seats...again selecting the perfect tune to set the tone......
