Set in the heart of Warwickshire’s stunning countryside, Ragley Hall dates back to 1680 and is the home to the 9th Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford, their 4 children and 5 dogs. The 6,500-acre estate welcomes visitors with its 18th century gatehouse, the winding driveway through the green fields. On the top of the hill stands the glorious Palladian mansion, which was designed by Robert Hook in 1680, with its majestic portico and grand horse-shoe steps, added by James Wyatt in 1780.
Surrounded by beautiful gardens, the house offers a range of stunning palladium rooms from the grand and imposing Great Hall, with its ornate baroque plasterwork, to the more intimate and luxurious Red Saloon. In summer, West Terrace provides a glorious setting for champagne and canapés on the lawn whilst enjoying views of the Rose Garden and the Parkland beyond.
Wedding menus crafted by the Head Chef Rachel Tudor, offer a range of classic and contemporary dishes. With many ingredients sourced locally.
