If I had to describe my work I would say I love to capture the fun, love and emotion of your day, the unique and quirky details, the sneaky peeks and you as a couple just taking in your special day.
I love weddings and am not ashamed to admit I get quite emotional sometimes – I have been known to shed a tear or two in a wedding ceremony whilst trying to hide behind my camera!!!
It’s such a wonderful job to document as much as I possibly can on your wedding day and leave you with a set of images that perfectly reflects your day.
Throughout the day I am unobtrusive and informal with a personal touch that will put you and all your guests at ease. Working with Canon cameras with a full set of lenses means I can capture all aspects of your day without you realising I am there most of the time.
Choosing your photographer for your wedding day is a really important decision – after all once the day is over, the cake is eaten, the cars have gone back and the guests have all departed, the photographs are a lasting reminder of your day and as such must be absolutely right for you.
To give you peace of mind therefore, I am fully insured and offer a pre-wedding shoot as an optional extra before the wedding day. This means we can get to know one another better in advance of the big day and also gives you a really beautiful set of images that can be presented to you in a guestbook that can be used for all your wedding guests to sign on your wedding day – the guests love this too!!
I always insist on a pre-wedding meeting about 1 month before the wedding day. At this meeting I like to get the important names of parents and bridal party and also any specific images you might like which means I can capture your day with as much detail as possible. This meeting can be held at your reception venue or your home so again we have spent some time together before I turn up on your wedding day and all helps to make you feel more relaxed on your big day.
