I've always been the one with the camera, but it was in 2006 that I decided to do something about it.

I’ll let you into a secret - I love taking photographs, whether I’m getting paid for it or not. Before I found a passion for wedding photography and environmental portraits, I started my camera-life by enrolling on a training course at Barrett & Coe in Norwich. I learned that the camera was secondary. What I was taught was much more important – how to see the light, how to interact with my sitters/subjects & how to understand the value of my work. My background as a musician and a retailer, gave me an appreciation of the art in photography & an understanding of what the client needs.

I now enjoy providing commercial photography for blue-chip companies and meeting excited, pre-wedding couples whilst working on my own work like the Newport City Originals project.
