Moonlighting have been providing sound and lighting packages for weddings for nearly 30 years and have been involved with hundreds of weddings throughout Ireland ranging from small intimate gatherings to some the largest weddings to take place in Ireland. A family run business operating from Dromore Co Down we live on past reputation and many families have come back to us again and again and have recommended us to their friends. Moonlighting wedding services are born from a long established support service to the private and public business community and theatre throughout Ireland. Founded in the early eighties as an electrical contracting firm we developed our lighting and sound skills firstly in the installation market specialising in hotels and pubs and then in the hire and event world. We have been providing sound, lighting and AV for events in a broad spectrum of clients and some are listed on our client page for reference, last year we did everything from a speech by former president Bill Clinton to a private party with Riverdance.

1. Sound

Have you ever been to a wedding and not been able to hear the ceremony or speech? Have you been deafened by the band or watched many of the guests simply move back in the room or worse still move out to another room for respite?

Many wedding services now happen outside or in church with less than good audio systems, we can help. Professional audio systems ranging from a small stand alone system for self use up to ??? fully many system to help your family and friends hear everything. We can also advise on entertainment, what works and what can be a waste of time and if needed we will manage all segments of this throughout the day so you don’t have to worry about it. Most bands simply can’t afford the type of equipment needed to produce high quality tour grade audio, let us take the worry out of this for you.

2. Hotel Lighting.

We can transform any venue with as little as a few uplights to create a warm hue of colour to a full lighting and sound support package to make your day a truly special event. We will apply simple, traditional lighting to make everyone feel at home and make sure everyone looks wonderfull in all the photographs.

3. Marquee lighting

So often we see Marquee weddings that have only had a couple of chandeliers installed by the marquee company and the family has not been advised to do additional specialist lighting, a beautiful wedding but could have been made so much more special. So often many hundreds of pounds spent on flowers that could have been made so much more special by pinspotting each bouquet. The aplication of a good lighting system will transform a marquee from a potentially cold feeling outdoor event into a pace of wonder.
