Our Council Chamber's style makes it perfect for creative events or for anyone looking for something different. Steeped in political and theatrical history, it is located on the first floor, though the bustling foyer of theatre goers and accessible via the building’s impressive marble staircase.

The room includes a built-in PA system, rigging for AV equipment and lighting. Hire of the Council Chamber includes a spacious adjoining room that can be used as a breakout, catering, or bar area. It also receives the dumb waiter from our event kitchen on the ground floor. The Council Chamber also has direct access to the Member’s Library, which can be hired additionally.

Our Great Hall is being refurbished following the 2015 fire and will be accepting bookings starting in January of 2019. This Victorian ballroom with stained-glass dome and an iconic mosaic floor has a capacity of 300 for dining, 800 (max) standing and a PA system and technician are included.
