Bridge House Hotel and Restaurant dates from the 13th century and nestles in the heart of the beautiful rural market town of Beaminster, just 6 miles from Dorset's famous Jurassic coast.

Bridge House is an intimate country house hotel with 13 en-suite bedrooms and 5 wedding reception rooms, plus a walled garden that can accommodate a marquee on the lawn. Wedding and civil partnership ceremonies and receptions can be held in any of our 5 rooms; The Georgian Restaurant (seats 40 guests), Conservatory (30 guests) and The Sun Room, The Medieval Lounge and Garden Gazebo - rooms can be linked to accommodate up to 70 seated guests or 100 guests in a marquee in our walled garden. We also offer the 'Bridge Exclusive' to enable you to hire out the entire hotel for an exclusive event for 25 - 70 guests (30 residents, 50 guests).

Our restaurant is proud to boast two Rosettes and is Gold Winner for three years running in the Taste of the West Awards. Our executive head chef runs a passionate kitchen producing some of the very best dishes in South West Dorset, and sourcing the freshest and best quality ingredients for our menus. This part of Dorset is blessed with so many fantastic local producers, daily fish from Cornwall, scallops from Lyme Bay, Crab from West Bay, local pork, red meat,fruit and vegetables from across the district and truffles from Beaminster itself.
