We visited Linthwaite on the 8th-10th June 2016 to celebrate the wedding of our Daughter. From start to finish we could not have been given better treatment. All the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much to ask. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the view from our room in particular was stunning. All of the guests said how beautiful the hotel and surroundings were. The food was fabulous, and the wedding breakfast delicious. The service on the day was exemplary. Our compliments to the chef and all the staff helping to make Katie and Paul's Wedding a truly memorable occasion. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the Lake District.

From the moment we first visited the hotel, we knew that Linthwaite House was the venue for our Wedding Reception. We always wanted to celebrate our wedding in the Lake District overlooking the lake, and the location of the hotel was perfect. The location was peaceful and tranquil and we felt like we were hidden away from the rest of the world. The grounds were really stunning perfect for our wedding photographs. The exclusive use of the hotel made us feel really special and the staff were to thank for this. The food was outstanding and our guests said it was the best beef they had ever tasted! (Thank you Chris O'Callaghan!) The attention to detail was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. Throughout the planning of the wedding, Kate (the wedding co-ordinator) made us feel so welcome and ensured the day itself went smoothly. Kate shared our excitement leading up to the wedding and offered support, which I am certain was above and beyond her role. Our day was perfect and we cannot thank all the staff enough. Special thanks go to Kate Thomas, Andy Nicholson and all the staff that made our wedding day the most perfect and special day of our lives. Linthwaite House Hotel holds a very special place in our hearts and we will return for our 1st Wedding Anniversary to relive all our happy memories from our day.
