Fonab Castle Hotel is an outstanding venue in highland Perthshire nestled on the banks of Loch Faskally. The grounds offer the perfect back drop for your special day.
Our Fonab Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests and is decorated in neutral colours with the option of flashes of colour through our colour wash system, our Fonab Suite is the ideal venue for both your ceremony and wedding reception. Tables are dressed in beautiful white linen with luxurious chivari chairs. A mirror ball adorns the ceiling above the dance floor for the evening extravaganza. Our dedicated wedding coordinator will be on hand from your initial meeting until you say "I do" to help you organise, plan and coordinate your perfect day.
Wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony can be held in our Fonab Suite or on the lawn, weather permitting. The ceremony can be conducted by celebrants, humanists or Alternatively the beautiful Dunkeld cathedral located 15 miles from the hotel provides a religious ceremony within a stunning setting. Pitlochry also has a number of churches from a variety of denominations available for your church wedding.
Drinks Reception
Our Castle suite is situated adjacent to the Fonab Suite. This suites boasts a terrace area for your guests to use and is ideal for photographs or as an additional space during the drinks reception
We are able to offer a drinks package but we do prefer to create a bespoke drinks package with drinks that the couple enjoy, whether a glass of champagne or a Cosmopolitan, a whisky cocktail, gin and tonic or a glass of wine all served with a delicious selection of canapés.
Should Fonab Castle Hotel be reserved exclusively for you and your guests, the drinks reception can take place in our Brasserie or in the grounds on the terrace beside the Loch.
Wedding Reception
Our Head Chef Paul Burns has specially created a menu selector with a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. He would be pleased to meet with both Bride and Groom to discuss their favourite dishes and create a bespoke menu. Our Sommelier would be pleased to suggest wine and drinks options to compliment your meal.
