Low House, near Armathwaite, is a Georgian Country House set in its own gardens and grounds surrounded by private parkland overlooking the River Eden with stunning views of the surrounding Cumbrian countryside.

The venue is offered for exclusive use and can accommodate wedding parties of all sizes; smaller parties can use the house for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and larger parties will need to organise a marquee, tipis or giant yurts.

Low House is fully-licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships with a choice of both indoor and outdoor ceremonies [weather-permitting] - there are four rooms within the house and two gazebos in the gardens.

The ethos at Low House is to offer wedding parties a great deal of flexibility to plan and organise their wedding to their own personal tastes and decorations and this extends right through to creating bespoke menus and drinks packages to allow wedding couples to personalise their special day.
