Nettlestead Place is an ancient Manor house. It was built in the 13 century and mentioned in the Doomsday Book. It is set in the valley of the river Medway with stunning views across the river to the beautiful countryside beyond.
Nettlestead Place has an exceptional 10 acre garden which is starred in the Good Garden Guide.
Couples have enjoyed this idyllic place for their civil ceremonies and wedding receptions for over 17 years.
Civil ceremonies take place in the medieval Undercroft....... which is not in fact under ground! It is on ground floor level and overlooks a magnificent pool which elegantly reflects the house.
The Undercroft can seat 120 for the ceremony and combines an intimate and cosy atmosphere with a proud and elegant formality. Most couples will then walk through the gorgeous gardens to enjoy their reception in a Marquee overlooking the river afterwards.

Nettlestead Place is not open to the public so your weddings are exclusive. Guests are welcome to wander and explore where they like in the gardens.
It is 'The Best kept Secret in Kent' Please do make an appointment and come and see for yourself. It is stunning!
