The Foundling Museum tells the poignant story of The Foundling Hospital, London’s first home for abandoned children set up in 1739 by Thomas Coram.

In a leafy square at the heart of historic Bloomsbury, the Foundling Museum celebrates the history of Thomas Coram’s Foundling Hospital (est. 1739) and the Hospital’s relationship with the artistic visionaries that championed Coram’s cause. Works by Hogarth, Gainsborough and Reynolds adorn the original rococo interiors, while a fascinating collection of artefacts relating to Handel add a musical element to this unique Bloomsbury venue. The Foundling Museum, available for exclusive hire, is arranged over four floors. Guests can wonder freely, soak up the history, or take a guided tour with a Museum expert.

The Foundling Museum Bloomsbury provides a flexible central London venue for events and can accommodate breakfasts and receptions for up to 200 guests, and dinners for up to 100.
