Our venue is unique; it’s not a barn, it’s not a field it is simply The Night Yard! It is set on a quintessentially Kentish farm surrounded by apple trees and a wild flower meadow. Original farm features remain such as the hay feeding troughs, wooden barn doors, Kent peg tiled roof, original apple picking ladders, and vintage red tractor.
Inside The Night Yard there are different spaces to use as you wish including an indoor room, with wooden floors and beamed ceiling, a rustic undercover bar with quirky lampshades, a clear sided marquee on the grass courtyard and the cloistered red brick barn.
The cloistered barn is great for the ceremony followed by a drinks reception, and later for fire pits, garden games and chill out areas. The great thing about The Night Yard is that once your guests are in you can shut the barn doors and you have your own private space. This means it’s a fantastic family friendly option.
We know food is important so we offer list of carefully selected caterers to choose from. Our ethos is that we offer advice on caterers and decorations and how to use the space and we listen and are open to suggestions. We can provide bespoke quotes for couples with unique requirements, ensuring that we always remember – it is your day!
