The Town hall is an attractive timber -framed building originally constructed in 1670. The Main Chamber and the Committee room are available for hire. Accessed via an external stone staircase (stair lift is available internally for those with mobility difficulties ) the rooms have good views over the Town through large windows.
The Decor of the rooms has been carefully designed to be in keeping with the building and to provide a suitable backdrop for your all important photographs .The rooms are decorated to reflect the sense of history within the Town. With its rich red walls highly decorated ceilings polished wooden floors , gold curtains chandeliers, and paintings this really is a distinctive location for up to 60 quests.

As this is your special day we understand you may wish to make separate arrangements to personalize the room with your choice of chairs, chair covers, bows, floral arrangements and, if as many couples choose, a drinks ceremony afterwards in the smaller Committee room for guests whilst your photographs are being taken served from sparkling silver plate trays which are available for you to use.
