Hendall is a private venue in a beautiful part of the East Sussex countryside. It is ideal for couples looking for an intimate, bespoke and exclusive wedding day. Hendall is an award winning conversion of an historic sandstone barn. The split level building is highly versatile and can host various seating arrangements for a ceremony and wedding breakfast. Combined with direct access onto a large south facing terrace and lawn, the interior and exterior space provides an enclosed but generous area allowing you to be surrounded by your family and friends throughout the day. There is disabled access throughout. We have a list of caterers for you to choose from and they will create a personalised menu to complement your day.

Most couples book a 2 night stay in our on-site accommodation. 'The Barn' is adjacent to the venue and is an extraordinary medieval stone building, providing plenty of space to get ready and retire to after your 'big day'.
